Join the White House, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for an interagency train-the-trainer webinar on Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) renewals on August 1st.
The Biden-Harris Administration is deeply concerned about people losing Medicaid/CHIP health care coverage as states resume regular renewal processes and will do everything in their power to keep Americans enrolled in comprehensive health care coverage. As part of this All Hands-on-Deck approach, this training will walk-through a set of slides that federal employees and partners can download and use to educate people in their networks about Medicaid and CHIP renewals. We encourage you to share this invitation with your colleagues, grantees, and partners so that as many people as possible get trained on how to help educate people about Medicaid and CHIP renewals.
The agenda for this training will include:
- Remarks from White House officials
- “Train-the-trainer” presentation on Medicaid and CHIP renewal information and strategies for educating people in your networks about Medicaid and CHIP renewals
- Review of CMS resources available to help with education and outreach
- Call to Action for federal and other partners and to do their part in helping keep people covered
